I don't know if they have such an alert.  Probably they don't since Hold is very generic.  They would have to add some new specific alert to address this scenario.

Production Order has buying and execution orgs.  execution org can create holds on production orders. when execution org user creates hold, I want buying org user notified, if there is a subscription for hold alerts by buyer.

Hold model has a generic model link called the transaction . How do apply transaction's permission for buyer to enable alerts for him ?
