When installing a new version of the SDK, the following error message occurs:
"Error: Oracle is not installed, not running, or the given parameters are not valid. Please verify that Oracle is installed and running, validate your parameters, and retry."
Oracle XE is already installed on the PC.
What is the best way to resolve this issue?

If Oracle is already installed, then this error message can indicate that the Oracle password expired.
Try connecting to Oracle from the Windows command prompt: sqlplus -s system/password@xe
If the Oracle password is expired, then the following error message will be returned in the command prompt:
ORA-28001: the password has expired
You will be given an option in the command prompt to set a new password.
